Distilled from sweet potato which produced in Kagoshima prefecture, where sweet potatoes have been widely cultivated since Edo Period. This shochu has soft mouthfeel yet with huge presence of Imo aroma and umami. Clean aftertaste.
It has a gentle impression of mushrooms, kyara fragrant wood (with the freshness of melon in a noble aroma), cacao and a hint of molasses from sweet potatoes.
When you put it in your mouth, it's a shochu with a lovely taste that makes you feel like you're eating a Japanese sweet made with white strained bean paste.
Shochu goes well with any occasion, so it's a great product to always have one.
